Our first Sister Sponsorship and it was a success! She was crowned your 2026 Young Miss!

Preliminary Pageant Day.

What a long but fun and successful day. The Secret Sister was able to sponsor one of our sisters with contestant entry, hair & makeup, and professional stage shot photos. We have an upcoming benefit pageant that will consist of about 45 contestants and with that said, we were honored to get in a practice before the big day next Saturday. The system today offered great feedback to help us prep for the next event. We competed in a round robin style interview setting which was my first time ever with that type setting, Beauty, and Valentine’s wear. It was my first time with a fun fashion style walk where I had no cape and I was proud of myself.

As for the feedback, one comment stuck with me longer than the other words; they said to not “force my smile” but what they don’t know is that this platform was made for that comment! I have a lowered superior labrial frenulum which is fancy words for saying the skin under my upper lip is low which prohibits me from showing all my top teeth when I smile. I’m still too young for anything to be done with it and you never have to do anything if you never need braces but i see braces in my future. (Thanks Mom as I’m pretty sure she had the same bite I do now). When you see comments like this, it goes one way or the other; you live and stay in that comment and allow your confidence to lower or you build a CSI / Platform like mine (The Secret Sister) that lets other girls know they are not alone if they have anything in their lives that holds them back from walking into any room with CONFIDENCE!

Stay tuned as we share photos from yesterday’s event and continue following us on our journey of service, fundraising, confidence building, and the road to one of my sister’s 2026 goal of being on the Miss Mountie court in October!

Our sister walked away with the 2026 Young Miss title and we couldn’t be prouder for her. I myself walked away with first runner up and lots of great memories, experience, and feedback.

Congratulations again to our very own 2026 sister.

Until next time, GIVE without seeking recognition as that is giving from the HEART!

Talk soon.
